Focus Your Answer On
Generally, when answering this question, it is best not to use a political or religious figure in your response as the interviewers may have different beliefs. However, since Loma Linda University is a faith-based university, you can use God in your response if you wish.

1st Answer Example
"I find inspiration in a variety of people and things. I would have to say that the person who has most greatly inspired me has been my grandmother. She always had a smile, no matter how hard she worked, and she loved everyone. She was well respected and always gave more than she received. I try to live like her as much as I can."

2nd Answer Example
"My greatest inspiration is my brother. He was born with Down syndrome and has the kindest and sweetest soul of anyone I know. Whenever I am struggling with something or having a bad day, he knows exactly how to cheer me up. Often, people will comment about it being sad that my brother has Downs, but he never feels sorry for himself. I wouldn't change one thing about my brother."
