"I have never been a queasy individual, and I fully understand the types of cases that I will see in my career as a dentist. I currently work part-time at our local drop-in shelter and have seen many situations involving blood. I don't think about the gore but more about the fact that it's a human who needs my help. I believe this mentality will get me through any undesirable situation."

One of the admissions requirements to attend Loma Linda University is to have completed a minimum of 50 hours of dental practice or shadowing. During that time, you undoubtedly saw blood and other bodily fluids. Describe to the interviewers how you have no problem working around blood and other bodily fluids.

"I have over 50 hours of experience shadowing a dentist and saw a lot of blood and saliva. I understand what comes with working as a dentist and have no issue with blood and bodily fluids."
