"I am aware that the suicide rate for dentists is high. I try to make sure that I meditate regularly, do yoga, and work out daily. These hobbies help me with stress management as a student, and I plan to carry these habits into my professional life as well."

"I understand the suicide rate is high for dentists and other healthcare professions. While it is a very sad fact, I recently read the numbers are going down, which is excellent news. I plan on staying grounded in my career by continuing to do the things in my life that relieve my stress. I go for a run every morning, go to the gym three times a week, and enjoy hiking and mountain biking. I also listen to calming music in the evenings while reading a good book. I know how to manage my stress very well."
