Zimmer Bioment spends a great deal of time and money on ensuring that their workforce is properly trained for their jobs. For this question, your interviewer will be looking to gain insight into how you are effectively trained by having you speak about the best training experience that you've had throughout your career. No matter what that experience was in your mind, make sure that you make it clear to your interviewer that you always appreciate the time and effort that goes into training you as an employee and that you are always open and receptive to training.

"In the ever changing landscape of manufacturing, training and education has been vital throughout my career to help learn new machinery, new technology and new products. If I had to pick the best experience I've been a part of, it was about five years ago when my employer was implementing a new line of products and this required a new injection molding machine I was to operate. The training started with a brief classroom training on the functionality and usage of the machine, along with all of the safety measures required to operate it. This overview gave a great start to the hands on training that followed with a rep from the manufacturer of the machine. During the hands on portion, I was allowed to see the full process for the new parts we were going to be producing as well as getting experience troubleshooting issues in the gate, sprue and runner."
