If you are interviewing with WME for representation as an actor: Actors may not always need an agent to land gigs; however, it comes highly recommended. The benefits of an Acting Agent include promoting their interests, representing actors during negotiations, seeking out new clients and opportunities, booking auditions, and more. All of this work is helpful since an agent can spend a lot of time seeking new opportunities, allowing an actor to focus on perfecting their craft. Be transparent about why you are looking for an agent. Since this industry is well-connected and small, beware of speaking poorly of any other agent.
