"I believe that the digital world is changing the record label game at a fast pace. I think that the biggest challenge is keeping up to date with these changes, and pivoting quickly enough to remain relevant. From what I have seen, UMG has fought hard and won when it comes to maintaining relevancy in this industry. You have done so by holding records for Grammy nominations, nearly half of all nominations this year, in fact. "

These days people are self-teaching a lot more and feel that they can do all the work themselves, but they don't realize the amount of effort and tools needed to keep all avenues in one accord. Having businesses handle responsibilities will still allow the creative person to rely on record labels. Record labels have a vital part in providing resources in place to keep the business operating at a certain level.

Consider rephrasing your answer like below:
In my opinion, some of the biggest challenges that record labels in particular experience these days include the difficulties of trying to promote unknown artists, a lack of funds/revenue loss due to the rising costs of recording and distributing the music, promoting it, touring expenses, and so on, and no guaranteed ROI as you might heavily invest in an artist and they never take off. Even more so, in the past several decades the internet has changed the way people consume music, and now regular folks have more control over the music than ever - whereas, the record labels used to be more in control. As these changes in the music industry continue they will inevitably impact record labels and the many challenges they face.
