On a scale from 1 to 10, how honest are you?

"As far as how'd I'd quantify honesty, I'd say that on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd score a 10 for my integrity, loyalty, respect, and pure intentions. I'd also say I'm not a very good liar, and consistently take full responsibility for my actions. I'd say I am even courageous in this regard."

Take the time to consider the question before giving your answer. How you present yourself will offer the interviewer insight into the makeup of your personality and help them determine if you're overconfident or modest in your answer.

This is a tricky question, as nobody is 100% honest, even when they try. But this question isn't about the subjectivity of honesty. What this question is more geared towards answering are your intentions, your integrity, and your self-perception. This question is all about what the semantics of your answer reveal about you and your intentions. Choose your words carefully. Honesty and communication go hand in hand. An effective communicator is an honest one.
