How to Answer
This is more than a "getting to know you" chat. This is an assessment to see how well-suited you are for this role. This is a commitment on the part of both parties. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interviewer to ascertain whether an applicant will find the lifestyle this opportunity offers emotionally sustainable. If you can align your interests with the elements of what this opportunity offers, all the better. If you enjoy foreign films, learning other languages, and learning about other cultures, mention that. If you love to travel and enjoy international cuisine, throw that in. Find those common denominators and weave them into your answers. How you like to spend your free time shouldn't be limited to these things, but neither should your answer exclude them. Look for the commonalities and ensure they are communicated with sincerity.
