In my previous role, while working in the hospital, my supervisor had asked me to cover the microbiology department due to a colleague calling in sick. Although I was being trained for this department, I had only trained for two days and still needed more training. Nonetheless, I jumped in to help and told myself I could rely on my team with any questions and I followed manuals. At the end of my shift, my supervisor was blown away at how fast I caught on and congratulated me for also being dependable.
