"This is a tough question as there are so many underfunded and worthy healthcare issues. If I could increase public awareness of any healthcare-related issue, I would choose pancreatic cancer. Yes, cancer does receive a lot of awareness; however, pancreatic cancer does not. This year, over 53,000 people in the USA will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and nearly 80% will die from the disease - both men and women."
