Talk to your interviewer about a decision you made that was initially unpopular among your colleagues, but nevertheless successful, as a result of your project management and leadership capabilities. If you can, provide an example, preferably in a professional capacity and related to the work of a Ramp Services Officer. As you prepare for your interview, be sure that you think of a time where you can show your conviction in a decision and the thought process behind why the decision was critical, despite not being popular. Ultimately, your interviewer will be looking to hear that you won't hesitate to grab the bull by the horns to make decision if hired at Qantas Airways.

"Last year, I was in charge of a small team working onsite at customers' homes. Because our work was performed outside, we had to plan ahead for inclement weather. Leading up to a Friday, the forecast was for very strong storms and after talking with my manager, I decided to cancel work for Friday and make Saturday mandatory for almost all of our team. Because it was a high priority project with a confirmed deadline with the customer, finishing on Saturday was necessary. I talked with my team, and they certainly weren't happy about working on Saturday. I let them decide among themselves who would be the one person not needed to work on Saturday and they did. As it turned out, it was a solid decision, as torrential rain and extreme winds made it impossible to work that day, and we finished the project on Saturday by noon."
