How is AI going to change our every-day lives?

"I'd say more deeply than what you may read in the typical news feed. Sure, it may hold true to the promise of the industrial revolution, that our work days will be shorter, and the resulting amenities will make our lives overall easier and more comfortable. But I feel like it is so much more impactful than our phone's personal assistants or self-driving cars. Sure, it could prevent accidents and in many ways saves lives. But the promise so far revealed towards innovations in medical science and astronomy alone is historic. AI stands to go beyond our brains' computational methods and could impact the rate of exponential factors so significantly, that could be a dizzying advance of all scientific pursuits that will prove as a technological revolution we'd have no way to prepare ourselves for, and we're already in it."
