What part of your healthcare career brings you the most stress?

"The part of my career that brings me the most stress is when the schedule is running behind due to lack of hustle on mine or my team's part. I like to be on time with my schedule to ensure that our patients and clients are assisted properly. To ensure the schedule does not run behind, I have team meetings so everyone is on the same page and the workday flows smoothly."

"To be completely transparent, I probably bring myself the most stress because of my innate desire to be the best. I strive for perfection too often, which causes undue stress on myself. I manage this by focusing my energy on productive activities that are good for my career. Also, on my days off, I do activities that relieve stress, like yoga, riding my bike, and spending time with my nieces and nephews."

After providing your answer of what part of your career brings you the most stress, focus on explaining how you combat that stress. It is essential in the healthcare industry to have healthy ways to decompress and relieve stress. Staff who can let the stress go are more productive and have less chance of burning out in their careers.
