Tell the interviewer about those daily email updates you receive from professional organizations, conferences you attend, and seminars you have taken.
Lastly, asking the interviewer what resources they refer to for industry trends is a great idea. That question can start up a great conversation, and you may learn a thing or two as well.
"Every morning, I listen to X Podcast because I find the information fresh and valuable. In addition to this podcast, I attend annual conferences and subscribe to a couple of industry blogs. To show the interviewer you take your job seriously, it is best to list three to four ways you stay current in your profession. When you have several ways you stay up-to-date, it shows the interviewer that you are a professional and take the time to keep on top of industry changes.
