What do you like least about your current or former job?
The interviewer asks this question to determine why you are looking for a new place of employment. When the interviewer understands why you are leaving your current position, they can see if the company can provide you with what you seek.
Focus on being positive in your response. Even though the interviewer wants to hear what you like least about your current job, they do not want you to speak poorly about your coworkers, patients, or management. When you respond, highlight the opportunities you can receive with the Mayo Clinic. For example, you may not like your current job because there is no opportunity for growth or it is a part-time position. In that case, point out that the Mayo Clinic offers opportunities for professional development or a full-time schedule.
"I enjoyed working for my former employer and got along well with everyone. What I liked least about that job was the commute. The commute turned into almost two hours every day, and it impacted my family life tremendously. I left on good terms and still communicate with most of my colleagues and supervisor."

This is a reasonable answer as to why you would seek a new job, but sometimes it will soften your response if you go into detail about why that's a challenge for you and how you overcome it or focus more on what you're looking for in your next company to avoid it seeming like a negative response to the interviewer.
