"I'm very familiar with some of the community-led initiatives like Mater Little Miracles, Mater Chicks in Pink, and Mater Smiling for Smiddy. I truly believe in the mission and know that the funding goes to providing life-saving care to those most in need, so it would be incredibly easy to talk about the work that Mater does and to get others excited to be a part of something so amazing and life-changing for so many. I would help increase donors by raising awareness on my social media pages and by sharing posts and information with my network frequently. I would take opportunities to engage others out in the community to make them aware of the services we offer and the impact they could have by donating."

"I know that there are six stages to donor development; identifying, engaging, evaluating, soliciting, recognizing, and stewarding. Some strategies I would use to attract donors would include inviting them to events, encouraging the community to get involved and volunteer as many volunteers often end up as donors, sharing the impact that even small gifts have on the lives of others, connecting and networking through social media platforms, regulating sharing updates and exciting news on my own personal pages."
