The interviewer is looking for answers to a few points when asking this question.
1. The company wants to know what kind of timeline is present before you are scooped up by another organization.
2. They want to know how discerning you are with your job applications.
3. They want to know the types of roles that interest you.
4. They want to hear that they are your top choice.
You can certainly discuss your search but avoid giving too many details. Give the interviewer enough to satisfy the question without revealing your entire search. Some mystery is okay here.

I am actively interviewing with other companies, however, I am not close to offering stage with anyone yet. I am most excited about this job and hope I get an opportunity to be part of the company.
Marcie's Feedback
Interviewers frequently ask this question to find out how quickly they need to move if they're interested in you. It's great that you have indicated that you're interviewing with other companies too so there's a sense of urgency there. Reiterating to the interviewer that you're most excited about their company is a fantastic move - perhaps also include a brief explanation of why (you think it's a perfect culture fit? you believe your skills are the perfect match for the role?) Good job!
