From a business standpoint, I would say my communication style is formal and friendly. Formal because I believe it is important to draw a line between business and friends and friendly because I am almost always a positive guy. I worked at a couple of different jobs throughout my life, so I know how to read the room and what to say and not say.

You can improve your response by sharing how you listen, process, or respond during an interaction. As with many other interview questions, it's also important to be able to provide an example or share the benefits or drawbacks of your particular style. This demonstrates you've taken the time to think about how you communicate with others as well as your own preferences around being communicated within the workplace.
