"I've only been working in retail for about six months, and so far I'm happy that I made the transition into this industry. Before that, I was working in an IT support call center, where I learned plenty about excellent customer service and explaining complicated solutions over the phone, but I was really tired of the sedentary, isolated nature of the work. Making the transition to retail was difficult because I wasn't used to being on my feet all day or talking to customers in person, but I caught on really quickly and now I love it."
