DaVita requires their Patient Care Technician candidates to undergo a background investigation before being offered a job. If you have a violation or charge in your background, the interviewer will decide if the offense is severe enough to disqualify you as a candidate. The interviewer wants a heads up to see the worst thing they will discover in your investigation to determine if they should move forward in the hiring process.

"The worst thing you will discover in my background is a small claims court case with my landlord. I moved out of my apartment, and the landlord refused to refund my security deposit. He said there were damages to the apartment when I left, and he needed the deposit for the repairs. I took a video of the place after I cleaned it and was able to prove in court that the landlord was being untruthful. The judge ruled in my favor, and my security deposit was returned."
