"I would say the two most critical qualities in customer service are communication and empathy. Suppose you have a new customer. In that case, you must be able to be a brand ambassador through communication by letting them know more about who you are and the products you offer, answer questions they have, and be able to explain why the product would benefit them. Empathy is also important because you have to understand their perspective and why they feel the way they do about the product or spending the money."

"I feel that listening skills and patience are vital to success in customer service. You must listen to the customer to understand their wants and needs better and be able to listen when they have questions or are voicing concerns or complaints. Patience is also key if you're working with a difficult or demanding customer or one that may ask a lot of questions. Our job is to sell products, and in order to do so we have to build relationships with the customer, which often means being a good listener and demonstrating patience in every interaction."
