"I see dynamics on social media shifting considerably. Facebook is less and less viewed as a place to connect with friends and more as a pace to share views, while platforms like Instagram and TikTok provide places for people to essentially escape and flex their creative side with user-friendly tools. As we hear more about tech giants in the news, we also see a sentiment of more users feeling apprehensive about sharing their data with companies like Facebook, though many appear to be more comfortable with Instagram - even though it is owned by Facebook. I think the future of social media will continue to trend toward the kind of content we see on TikTok and Instagram - engaging content, short video clips, user-friendly interfaces. I think Facebook will continue to trend towards being the place for people to post their views, and I think it will also ultimately hit a point where it needs to check back in with its identity and potentially make some major changes in order to stay relevant, especially to the younger market."
