Competition is very high for veterinary schools. In the United States alone, thousands of applicants apply for around 2,700 annual spots in the 30 schools around the country. Chances are high that your interview panel is facing a very tough decision on who to admit to their program based on a very skilled and competent applicant pool. They give you the chance here to give your final pitch on yourself and why you should be admitted to their program. To best answer, put yourself in the shoes of your interviewer. Vet schools want to admit students with passion and who will bring a future successful reputation to their program. As you answer, make sure to speak from the heart as you explain why their program is the right one for you.
