I am a non-traditional applicant as I am not attending vet school directly out of undergrad. I have had time to assure my love for the field as well as gain more experience that I was not able to accumulate during the busy school year. Along with this, I believe I have many people skills that are based on both hard and soft skills. I am dedicated to my school work, and I am well rounded in my relationships, academic endeavors.

I think my greatest trait that I have is perseverance in the face of challenges. My path to here has not been an easy one. I believe that the most exceptional professionals and athletes are not the ones that it came easy to them, but the ones that had to keep working to improve their skills that led them to become greater than they ever were. My drive and ambition have guided me to continue pursuing a DVM degree.
