What are your career goals?
"A career goal that I've set for myself for the next 5 years includes working with Military Veterans suffering from addiction. In addition, I want to be a part of finding solutions for our temporary housing crisis."
Now is not the time to be clever and tell the interviewer that you plan on being in his position in 5 years. Your career goals could include working in another department within their hospital, teaching more classes to large audiences, or even finishing your Master's degree. Whatever direction you are looking to go, make it something that will better yourself.
"My goal right now is to find a position at a company where I can grow and take on new challenges over time. Ultimately, I'd like to assume more management responsibilities and get involved in community projects. But most importantly, I want to work for an organization where I can build a career."
