My husband's family has a family friend they call Grandma Pat, and she spent 30 years as a 911 dispatcher, so I have listened to numerous stories about her processional career. I think the main thing that I have always taken away from any of these stories was how rewarding she always said the job was. Being able to help other people was always worth the stress.

Cindy's Feedback
Very good. Can you include specifics about what you learned about the career and explain why that makes the career appealing?

Not having family or friends who are familiar with this type of work I did result to looking up videos online. Much of what I viewed was absolutely breathtaking. Police Dispatchers in my opinion are unseen heroes, and I would be honored to be a part of this team.

They are! (I'm married to a cop so I know!!:) It's great that you researched this career option thoroughly online since it takes a certain type of personality. Can you talk more about what you saw in the videos and why you felt that this was the best career choice for you?
