"I studied petroleum engineering because I was always fascinated by geology. As I grew up, I enjoyed traveling to mountainous regions and national parks with my family and collecting rocks to study at home. After viewing the Deepwater Horizon disaster, I knew I had to get involved and study petroleum engineering. I enjoyed all my classes in university, my favorite being production engineering. I would love to be part of a company that is finding ways to reduce carbon emissions and designing and developing efficient and responsible ways to extract oil while still respecting the environment and ecosystems."
