Why did you study Petroleum Engineering?

Think of any skills or experiences you have gained through studying petroleum engineering in college or earlier internships and match those to the job description.
"I studied petroleum engineering because I was always fascinated by geology. As I grew up, I enjoyed traveling to mountainous regions and national parks with my family and collecting rocks to study at home. After viewing the Deepwater Horizon disaster, I knew I had to get involved and study petroleum engineering. I enjoyed all my classes in university, my favorite being production engineering. I would love to be part of a company that is finding ways to reduce carbon emissions and designing and developing efficient and responsible ways to extract oil while still respecting the environment and ecosystems."
