In my previous experience, I worked as a manager for a company that promoted an entrepreneurial spirit. We were expected to find and present local marketing opportunities in our area quarterly, which encouraged management to develop partnerships and think strategically to develop their business acumen. We were encouraged to creatively problem solve and were given a lot of trust. We often fixed our own IT issues and resolved complicated customer issues ourselves.
