"Networking technologies are constantly evolving and changing. Staying current with these is challenging but can be accomplished by having a consistent development plan and executing it. A part of the plan is also improving my skills to be prepared when the opportunity to advance occurs. I do this by reading industry journals, subscribing to online blogs, meeting with vendors and suppliers to learn about their newest technology, and getting together with my peers to discuss new developments that they are aware of. I also take formal classes and obtain all of the Cisco certifications I can."
