If a problem does occur, there are several different techniques I can use to identify the error and fix it. An example of this is tracerouting, which identifies network bottlenecks."

I will constantly use the command prompt and ping other hostnames in the LAN and outside the LAN to ensure the DNS server is up and running. If I cannot ping the hostnames, I will open the IP configuration and first check the IP addresses.
