"I believe that communication is essential in a fundraising role. You have to explain your organization's mission, vision, and program details clearly to any potential donor. In addition, it is important to engage in actively listening to the donor's interests in order to establish a personal connection to the organization. Finally, maintaining consistent contact with the donor throughout the entire fundraising cycle is vital in establishing a durable relationship. I have over a decade of proven experience effectively communicating with donors and potential donors. As such, I would rate myself an 8 out of 10, acknowledging that I always have room to grow."
