"In 2011, I graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. My first position was at Bellva Laboratories as an associate scientist where I was responsible for basic prep work for the senior scientists. After a year, I was promoted into a scientist I role where I was able to be more involved in scientific experiments and work independently. The majority of the work that I did in this role was for the development of pharmaceutical drugs. I accepted a position at Verma Labs in 2018 as a biochemistry technician and I am currently working in that role. I am responsible for the trailing of pharmaceutical drugs and mainly the side effects that are experienced. While I enjoy my role very much, I am very interested in working in biochemistry for children's medications which we do not work on at the company that I am currently with."
