"When I started my most recent position, I had a coworker that was not very open to new ideas or any type of change. I felt very unheard and like I was never going to be able to make an impact on the team. I decided to speak to this individual and see if there was a way to resolve the issue. I explained my work history and that I did have a good deal of prior experience and that my ideas may be helpful for our team and help with efficiency. After talking, I realized that this individual was hoping to get a group lead role and was trying to demonstrate that he could be a leader for our team. Going forward we had a really great working relationship and respected each other's ideas and work techniques."
