Your admissions interviewers are assessing how engaged you are in continually learning about your craft. Share the resources you refer to for staying up to date on any breaking research, trends, breakthroughs, social concerns, and any journals you find of particular interest. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the news sources the Yale University of Medicine offers as well, such as 'Beyond Sterling,' the regular message from the Dean, as well as Yale Medicine Magazine, the medical school's alumni bulletin, and Medicine@Yale, their quarterly print and online newsletter. It would not hurt to follow their social media as well. Ask your interviewers about their favorite resources as well, which would only exhibit a passion to learn and grow. Doing so could inspire a more memorable dialogue.
