What other pharmacy programs have you applied to, and where does University of the Pacific rank?

The interviewers would like to understand the types of schools you are interested in. Knowing where you are applying will help them understand better if the University of the Pacific will meet your specific needs and educational desires or goals. You should be transparent when answering this question but avoid saying anything offensive, such as, 'this school is my last choice.' Choose the number one reason you want to attend the University of the Pacific and focus on that.

"I have applied to four other schools, and your college ranks number one on my list of colleges I want to attend. The other schools are A, B, C, and D. My interest in the University of the Pacific is strong because you are highly regarded in the pharmaceutical industry, and your reputation is unmatched. I would be so proud to say that I graduated from this school."

For obvious reasons, the interview panel wants to hear that the University of the Pacific is ranked number one on your list of colleges to attend. If you answer that their college is not high on your list, they may pass you over for a candidate that is more excited to attend their university.
