"I was reading 'World Pharma News' the other day, an online publication I read every week. The article that caught my eye discussed how Pfizer and BioNTech are due to supply the U.S. with 100 million additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, totaling the number of doses to 200 million. I was quite interested to hear that the government has agreed to pay 1.95 billion for these additional doses. Of course, the hope is that these additional doses will help us to protect more individuals and end this pandemic more rapidly."

Be sure you have read a pharma-related article before your interview. The interviewers want to see that you are proactive in keeping current in the pharmaceutical industry and retaining the information you have read. Be prepared to answer follow-up questions the interview panel may have.
