By understanding your strongest areas of interest, the admissions team can predict which courses you will enjoy most at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. The way you respond should also show the admissions team how you will fit into their student population and culture.
First, talk about your strongest interests when it comes to the medical field. Let your passion shine by describing why you are fascinated with this area of medicine.
Then, mention which area of medicine is your least favorite and why. Keep your response positive and avoid making negative over-arching statements about one area of medicine. The admissions team wants to see that you have an openness to learning and a curiosity to learn about all aspects of medicine, even if they aren't the most exciting to you.

"At this point in my studies, I am most interested in Pediatrics as I have always been passionate about helping children. I bring the compassion that is required for that area of medicine. Also, most of my volunteer experience has been around children's issues. The area of medicine that I find to be my least favorite so far is Pathology. I have not excelled in bio-science; however, I have hired a tutor to ensure my grades remain above average regardless of my natural interest."
