"Honesty, my favorite class was my yoga class. It sounds odd, but I discovered it was key to me being able to decompress and destress instantly. Now, whenever I feel overwhelmed by my studies, I can take a micro break doing some quick yoga, and it feels like I just took a vacation. It helps me strike a sustainable balance to which I largely attribute my success. My colleagues ask me how I do it - how I always turn in my assignments early and have so much time left over for revisions and then free time on top of that. I always tell them Yoga. They laugh and think I'm kidding."

The interviewer is curious about what coursework interests you most. By determining your educational interests, they'll better understand how to guide you through your approach to your degree. Additionally, they're curious how relevant your favorite class is to the curriculum you'll face at Salus.
Choose a class you excelled in. If the class doesn't seem translatable to your degree, the interviewer may question whether optometry is the right career path for you. But this can be cleared up when you explain why the class was your favorite, especially if it was less about the subject matter and more about the teacher or professor who made the class interesting. Otherwise, choose one that aligns with the degree you've chosen to pursue.
