However, it should exhibit an appropriate reading level for a college-bound student. Therefore, avoid volunteering juvenile fiction regardless of its pop-culture value or how fun it may be. Avoid volunteering books that were school assignments, as this could convey you don't prefer to read unless it is required. Also, avoid naming books that seem like you are just trying to impress them by telling them what they want to hear.

Ideally, you'll want to share a title that you are sincerely enthusiastic about, something with substance, something age-appropriate, and which offers insights into your personality and character.
