Malpractice is a hot topic in the field of pharmacy. From class action lawsuits against large chain pharmacies regarding the opioid epidemic and improperly prescribed drugs to improperly filled prescriptions or failure to advise a patient on the long-term side effects, there are many ways one could make themself vulnerable. Not only do you need to validate the nature of this question, but you have to share the scope of your knowledge and your understanding of how it will impact your career while assuring them that you intend to put your all in and be the best you can be in your field.

"Yes, I am aware of malpractice cases in the pharmaceutical field, and it can be disheartening to hear these stories. Although I would be diligent with my best work, perfection is not guaranteed, and mistakes happen. If I faced a situation of negligence or wrongdoing, I would take full responsibility for my part in the situation. I would defend my expertise and decision-making skills at the same time. The best thing any medical professional can do is try their best every day, document their actions clearly, and choose to work with colleagues that you trust."
