"The volatile keyword command can be used for several purposes. One is to turn off compiler optimizations, thereby removing loops that contain global variables. Another use of volatile keywords is to make the compiler aware that other processes may change variables during runtime. This comes in handy when you need to change volatile variables and update the values being used by execution commands. I have used volatile keyword commands for both of these purposes in my code."
