How do you prioritize multiple projects when they all seem equally important?
There are times at Safelite when multi-tasking becomes necessary, and you will be forced to prioritize your responsibilities. The hiring manager is looking for familiarity with an organization system, so you don't feel overwhelmed. In answering this question, show that you have a system in place to help you manage projects and time. Consider making a list or designating tasks to other capable departments. Be confident in your capability to get the work done in an effective and timely manner.
"I would begin by making a list of all the projects I have to accomplish. Then, I would mark what is urgent or important, trying to consider deadlines and meetings. Finally, I would order each task based on how urgent and important they are. Finish these tasks first. Considering due dates and how long it will take to do each item (also considering how much time you have). I have used this system on more than one occasion, and it seems to be the best way I know of prioritizing the work, so it doesn't overwhelm our staff or myself."
