The interviewer asks this question to determine if you have the education needed to perform your job as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. They want to hear if you have a high school diploma or GED, an associate's or bachelor's degree, certificates, or other specialized training that qualifies you to work in this position.
Describe your education as it relates to the position. You do not need to start with your high school diploma or GED. Start with your post-secondary training and beyond. If you do not have post-secondary training and the position calls for only a high school diploma or GED, then mention that you are qualified for the position and tell the interviewer if you have your diploma or GED.
"I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Management from George Washington University five years ago. I then became a Certified Clinical Trial Coordinator through the Society of Clinical Research Associates. I have agreed to a code of ethics and passed their exam. I have maintained my certification by completing the necessary continuing education units and am in good standing as a Clinical Trial Coordinator."
