PPD likes to encourage a healthy work/life balance. How do you like to maintain a healthy balance between work and your personal life?

No matter what profession a person chooses, everyone needs some time to unwind and relax. Psychologists today say that a healthy balance in life allows a person to recharge and refocus, which results in better productivity at work. The interviewer simply wants to know what you do for yourself. Maybe you have a favorite pastime or hobby. This is yet another way for the interviewer to get to know you as a person.

Focus on describing three or four activities you enjoy. The interviewer wants to see what you are interested in and that you maintain a healthy work/life balance.

"I enjoy taking my dog to the beach and going for walks, and I also take a yoga class twice weekly. After spending time at the beach and doing yoga, I always feel like I can rest better and wake up energized, ready for the next day. I also spend a lot of time with my parents on my days off. Family time is very important to keep a good work/life balance."
