"When I first started at my current job, I noticed that the waste levels were through the roof, and we didn't have a system in place for responsible reusing or recycling. At home, I did some research about recycling programs in our area and then came up with an idea about how I could get my coworkers involved in volunteering to sort recyclables during work. I set up a point system with a small prize for those with the most points at the end of a quarter. I took my plan to my manager, and she was thrilled. We implemented it and reduced our waste by 27% after just a few weeks!"
