Meeting deadlines, over performing, learning, and innovating is the aim of the messaging in your example. Walk the interviewer through your process of seeking the relevant information you need to make that quick decision. Explain the steps to give the interviewer a clear picture of your thought process. Detail the situation, what inspired you to take the approach you took, and how you achieved a positive outcome. Where there is a will, there is a way, which is the attitude you want to convey.
