Terminations and corrective discipline measures can be very difficult to do but, with experience, they do get more comfortable. Talk to the interviewer about the extent of your experience with terminations and discipline.
If you do have the experience: "I have been a part of individual terminations and group lay-offs throughout my career. I am comfortable with these types of tasks."

I currently do not have experience in performing disciplinary procedures or terminations. However, with a bit of training, I doubt I would have any problems in that area.

Great! It sounds like you're very open to learning more about this aspect of the role despite not having experience in it already, which the interviewer will appreciate. You could conduct some research on how people usually handle this sort of task and talk about how you would hypothetically handle a situation like this to further impress the interviewer. Nice job!
