At In-N-Out Burgers we have gained a lot of momentum this year using social media marketing techniques. Do you follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter?

Before an interview, you should always thoroughly research the company's online presence and, if possible, follow them on social media. This research is also helpful because many companies will post their new openings using their social media platforms. The interviewer would like to know if you are authentically engaged in the In-N-Out Burgers brand and product.

"I know that you have a great social media presence and I do follow your Instagram account. Of course, your posts always make me hungry!"

"I am not involved with social media; however, I can only imagine that your posts are fun and mouthwatering. Should I end up on these social platforms, I will be sure to follow In-N-Out Burgers."

I am the most active on Twitter and Instagram, and I follow In-N-Out on both of those platforms. The content they put out always makes me want to eat there. I especially like illustrations that use the mid-20th century style design, an era I have an interest in.

If you can think of a specific post you saw that made an impact, definitely consider talking more about it. That will show the interviewer that you really pay attention to (and care about) the content that the company posts on social media.
