"Attitude is contagious. A negative attitude can decrease productivity, sow dissent, create problems with authority, and make or break a business. A positive attitude has the opposite effect and is integral to success."

Someone who has a lot of negative things to say might feel that way no matter where they are and can be a detriment to a work environment. Positivity and a "can do" attitude is just as contagious as negativity in the workplace. It can increase or decrease morale and productivity. Focus on the power of positivity, empathy, tolerance, understanding, and how enhanced communication skills can over-deliver positivity and positive outcomes when delivered.

There is a saying that attitude is more important than facts, the past, a person's education, money, circumstances, failures, and successes. It is also more important than what other people think, say, or do. It's more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. And that it will make or break a company or home. Every day we decide what attitude we'll embrace. We can't change our past or the fact that people will act in a certain way. We can't change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one thing we have, and that's our attitude. In a team environment, the right attitude can go a long way.
