"When I graduated from my Master's program, I took a job in a fast-paced lab. It was a bit of a rude awakening for me coming out of college into the workforce, particularly in working with some very focused and dedicated individuals who were willing to do anything to succeed. One particular teammate of mine was very hard on me, demanding better work even when I was providing great results. Their communication style was demanding and this caught me way off guard.
